#6 – Nostalgia

Nostalgia is evil in my opinion, because it makes us remember only the good memories. They say we should only remember the good about other people who were once a part of our lives, but I have found that only remembering the good makes those memories hurtful to a great deal. Why not remember the bad too? Remembering the bad would make the memories more ‘balanced’ and that way we shall always know that despite the good things, either of us was not happy which led to the separation and the taking of our own different paths.

#1 – Anybodies and Nobodies

 

I’m living my life one day at a time. I’m taking each step carefully, each breath cautiously. I’m overthinking before everything I might say or do. I’m trying to extend beyond today and peek into the distant misty future. I’m trying to make sure I don’t shatter this fabric of glass, woven so delicately and perfectly. They say we should make the most out of today, but I am yet to let go of yesterday. How I long for those memories to become realities again. I’m standing in a sea of souls but yet to find someone like you. Maybe I am drowning in the affairs of this mundane life, to become one day a somebody in the vastness of anybodies and nobodies.
